ABOUT COMMUNITY OF LOVE
Community of LOVE is a non-profit organization established to champion community needs by developing, cultivating, and connecting leaders to build communities of love. Our mission is to eliminate the enemies of poverty, disease, and miseducation by elevating awareness, empowering knowledge and encouraging wellness and generational wealth. As a public charity, Community of LOVE is “the change that we want to see in the world." We aim to enable individuals to embrace leadership, life and literacy; offer outreach and opportunity; foster clear vision and support; and encourage economic perseverance.
Our successes over the years are attributed to our investment in research; commitment to education; and focused engagement sessions, including critical competence workshops and skilled development webinars. Additionally, collaborating with diverse individuals, businesses, and organizations has been a major factor in fostering our local, national and international growth and influence. Our focus on economic growth has enabled us to support other organizations, in addition to planting a foundation for the establishment of our own philanthropic arm.

MEET THE FOUNDERS
Kimiyo WilliamS, M.D.
Kimiyo Harris Williams, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Educating her patients and advocating for health equity has been the foundational framework of her practice of medicine. Dr. Williams is a cum laude graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Pre-Medicine. She completed her medical training at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, receiving a Doctor of Medicine degree. Thereafter, she successfully completed the Pediatric Residency Training Program at LSU Health Sciences Center and Children’s Hospital in New Orleans. Dr. Williams’ career has included both academic and clinical medicine over the past 20 years. As co-founder of a private pediatric practice, she has learned about the operation of a small business. Currently as President and CEO of K.H. Williams Enterprises, Inc., Dr. Williams has continued to exercise her vision, leadership and management skills to meet the needs of the community.
Personally, Dr. Williams cherishes being the wife of Mr. Theron J. Williams, Sr., mother of two sons, bonus mother of three, and grandmother of three. Taking time to embrace and cultivate relationships both personally and professionally are of paramount importance. Committed and dedicated to serving the community, she is involved in several advocacy, community, and non-profit organizations. Her personal mission is to embrace the community with compassion and influence while exercising professionalism and encouraging wellness. Some of her favorite hobbies include traveling, football, and dancing. Her favorite quote is “Self-love is healthy living.” K. Williams
Theron Williams, Sr.
Theron Williams, Sr. is the devoted husband to his wife, Dr. Kimiyo Williams. As a father of five and a grandfather of four, he looks forward to spending time with family. His passions include fostering leaders in the community, building relationships, implementing strategies, and developing careers. "Building Relationships From The Inside Out" is his personal vision. As an ordained Elder, he along with his wife, have served in his local church as Directors of the Marriage and Family Ministry and Directors of Ministry.
Professionally, he is the Multi-Site Learning and Development Manager at Shell Norco Manufacturing Complex and Convent Refinery. The common thread in these roles is assisting individuals in building a relationship with Jesus Christ, themselves and others, as well as the ability to perform and deliver the needs of the business and community. Within these pursuits, he has found that the key component which every human being desires is LOVE. Poverty, disease and lack of education is pervasive and undermines the true intent of life, and for that reason, he and his wife, Dr. Kimiyo Williams have birthed this movement, the Community of LOVE.
